I have been keeping people up to date on Twitterand Facebook, but have been using my own site for "bigger" thoughts, releases, etc. That's stupid. But a 140 character entry here wouldn't really be right, would it? I mean, it probably would have ended by now.

Anyway.

I'm super psyched about the reaction to Songs from Lift, and in particular the new song, "Count to Ten." The book, "Lift," by Kelly Corrigan, is now #2 on the bestseller list. That's just cool. Oh. You think it's nerdy? Don't care.

There's also a new record brewing. Meetings have been met. Money has been discussed. Arrangements have been envisioned. Things are cloudy, like the Wicked Witch's crystal ball before that thick red smoke clears. But shapes are emerging. Drummers are counting off. Coffee is brewing in a nearby lounge area.

There's some TV stuff cooking, too. I don't want to blow any announcements or anything. I've grown to expect nothing, and simply to continue to do the best possible work I can. What else is there?

In sum, I'm so happy you've been enjoying Songs from Lift, and can't wait to see you again soon.
